Background

Despite being in his EARLY 50s, John insists he thinks like a 24 year old……. An ex-Dalzielian, he’s loved Burns since school and cites his main inspiration as a certain Mr Scobie, a former rector of Dalziel High, Motherwell. The old alliance is an important influence in Johns life: food, wine, women, and he speaks French beautifully. However, this is more than matched by his love of Scotland: its countryside, its people and its language.
