Bookmark – A Red, Red Rose
One of the more well known works of Robert Burns
Red in colour with a rose illustration and a quote that reads:
"My luve is like a red, red rose, That's newly sprung in June."
And on the reverse:
"Possibly Burns' greatest ever love song, 'My luve is like a red, red rose' was written while he was gravely ill. Dogged by poor health all his life, and prone to depression, Burns contracted rheumatic fever and died the following year of endocarditis, aged 37."
