Mairi and Sharon

Robert Burns Gifts is the brainchild of Mairi Cumming, and was founded in late 2008 with Sharon Low joining the her very shortly afterwards.

They were disappointed with the quality of some of the products made in honour of Caledonia’s Bard, especially during the homecoming year, whilst at the same time, were vexed at the lack of attention given to fantastic Burns related offerings from individuals throughout Scotland. Robert Burns Gifts is their attempt to remedy this situation.

They consider Robert Burns to be one of Scotland’s finest assets and it is their greatest hope to be able to support the Burns World in developing both enthusiasts and scholars alike.

Their mission statement is simple. ‘Made in Scotland, in honour of Burns’

Whilst producing some of their own products, they are keen to assist homegrown talents and industries by promoting products already available.

They firmly believe that Robert Burns doesn’t belong to anyone and hope to share him with the world. If anyone has a Burns related product or event, please get in touch and allow them to promote it on your behalf.
